ABOUT DEBBIE LINDQUIST
I was born in Minnesota in 1950. I grew up in
and went to college and medical school in
Nebraska. I did residency training in Internal
Medicine at the University of Minnesota
Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis. I did
fellowship training in Hematology and Medical
Oncology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and
Clinics. My first position was at the Boston VA
Medical Center. In 1989, I started my clinic in
Sedona, Arizona. My area of particular clinical
expertise is breast cancer, and I am actively
involved in clinical research. I was an author
on the article in The New England Journal of
Medicine, December 27, 2006, describing the
pivotal trial using a new agent lapatinib with
oral chemotherapy of capecitabine, that showed a
profound benefit for women with Her 2 positive
breast cancer. I am on the national breast
cancer committee for our corporation. I am a
member of the American Society for Clinical
Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, am
a fellow in the American College of Physicians,
and a member in the American Society of Breast
Diseases.
I first took the Avatar® course in 1993, and
the Masters Course in 1995. I started teaching
Avatar in 1995. I especially love teaching
Avatar
at the International Courses, with interaction
with people from many places. I find the
Avatar tools work beautifully even if the other
person you are working with is speaking in
another language. |
